What to Expect

Our tour begins with the world-famous Acropolis hill. Get ready to learn everything there is to know about the historic monuments of the Acropolis, including the Parthenon, the Temple of Nike, the Propylaea and the holy Erechtheion, as our expert tour guide takes you on a fascinating journey through time.

Descending the Acropolis hill, you will come across the Acropolis Museum, with its fascinating exhibitions and artifacts dating back almost 3000 years. Your exploration of ancient Athens won’t end here. Your tour will take you in the Roman Agora, the Tower of Winds and its pioneering technology, as well as other historic sites, including the Temple of Zeus and the Library of Hadrian.

Strolling through Plaka – the island-like neighborhood at the heart of Athens city – you will explore buildings representative of the neoclassical architecture of the area. Next, you will get the opportunity to shop around the flea market of the multicolored Monastiraki neighborhood, the ideal place to buy the perfect souvenir from your trip.

Take a stroll in Syntagma Square – one of the more popular meeting points of the city – and take a step back in time to the Athens of the 18th and 19th century. The National Garden is filled with the heady scent of hundreds of plant varieties. From there, you can reach the Panathenaic Stadium, home of the first modern Olympic Games.
