Because of its unique terrain, viticulture and geology, Santorini produces wines that are internationally renowned. Your wine tour will last for 4 hours and will include tastings at 3 award-winning local wineries, where you will be told about the elements of the Therian land and understand their contribution to the unique taste of the local wines, all while tasting them yourselves. You will have your own wine expert, who will introduce you to the island’s viticulture and its thousands of years of history. Then, you’ll have the opportunity to experience first-hand the strange-looking vineyards of Santorini, with their straw-basket-like weaving, designed to protect the precious crop from the fierce winds. You will be able to taste the sweet, pearl-sized fruits that have been enriched by the minerals of the volcanic land.
